10 Days of Tunes: Day 10

10 Days of Tunes: Day 10

The smashing finale. Apologies for missing Day 10 people. We’ll make up for it I assure you. Today we bring you multiple setups and lots to play with on GT5. The most setups we’ve brought you in one post for quite a while should keep you enjoying the game for quite some time. As the game has evolved and grown I’ve really gotten into building cars and comparing them to their similar counterparts as well as some of their complete opposites. I really enjoy getting to see how for instance an E63 AMG compares to the Chrysler HEMI 300C, and then how they each do with, say… a Caterham thrown in. The combinations are endless when you really think about it. Maybe you’ll find a few that you like to test against one another in todays lineup.

1: Honda Element

Gran Turismo 5

Front Rear  Front  Rear

Springs 8.1 7.2 Performance Points 540PP
Dampers (Extension) 5 6 Power Level 100%

Camber 2.6 1.3 Top Speed 260 KPH

Gears First – 4.035 Second – 2.802 Third – 2.084
Fourth – 1.622 Fifth – 1.321 Sixth – 1.125

These three are an example of what I’m talking about. 3 very different vehicles, yet depending on the venue, they can be very close in lap times. Anywhere with a big straight or two and the Stormer will have the advantage, a track with small tight turns will favor the other two. Each of these was a challenge to build as we are not so practiced with the SUV’s of the game. Yet, each was a great deal of fun in it’s own way. They are big, cumbersome and can smash a track given the right driver. Enjoy!
